Interpret their relationship as you will! I personally ship prongsfoot (as it is probably implied in this fic) but tbh you could read this as a platonic relationship. James and Sirius are just being their usually silly selves.

This work was inspired by the scene in The Outsiders musical where Sodapop has a meltdown because Ponyboy and Darry are fighting again—not just with words too.
