Harry always wanted to know what his parents were like. Yes, he heard stories from other people like Sirius, Remus, and even Snape. But what he really wanted was a chance to really know them. So when Sirius found a way out of Grimmauld Place and offered to take Harry along with Remus to Potter Manor, he gladly accepted. He would finally, maybe, get to know more about his mom and dad. Little did he know he wouldn't find out much about his mom, as he intended to.

Summary
James potter has never really been able to keep a secret from his friends, so when he started this new relationship all he wanted to do was tell the world but for obvious reasons he couldn’t.
Remus lupin has Always been good at “Minding his own damn business” unlike some people *cough* Sirius *cough* black, so when James starts to sneak of more an never telling his friends or coming up with some half assed excuses, he try’s his best to stay out of it but something is weird. So when James shows up on the great hall after not coming back to the dorms that night with a Slytherin tie, every thing starts to fall into place.

Or: Regulus is concerned about Sirius after their mother orchestrates a horrible attack. And with Sirius out of reach he relies on James Potter to know his brother is okay. Except their meetings keep happening, and their conversations keep falling away from Sirius. Falling for James Potter might just be the most reckless thing he's ever contemplated.
