No. No, this was not what Vegas had in mind when he told Pete to "go back to where you came from". Surely, that could have been interpreted in a sexier way, not something as unsexy as abandonment. He just wanted to be petty and expected---he doesn't even know what he expected but he did not expect to be left alone in the living room as he waited for Pete to come back, only for him to come back five minutes later with a suitcase and a backpack.
"What the fuck do you think you're doing?" Vegas asks, venomous enough to hide his panic.
"You told me to go back to where I came from more times that I can count with my fingers so here you go." Pete says, smiling that customer service smile, so fake that Vegas hates it so much he wants to rip it out of his face.
"So that's how you want to play? You walk out that door and I'll take it you won't mind if I find---"
"Someone else to fuck? Yeah, I know. You keep saying that too; I bet you're just gagging for the chance.'
Or Pete goes home to his grandma's after a huge fight and Vegas blackmailing him did not work. Vegas follows after him shortly after and well, chaos ensues.
