After a whirlwind courtship, Christine de Castelot-Barbezac is shattered by the shocking and unexplained death of her husband. As the only witness to his murder, she must discover what happened and why. But as she submits to hypnotism to try and recall that night, she begins to recollect other moments from her marriage that had somehow been buried, and starts having the most unexplainable dreams. Dreams about her husband, calling on her to come to him. To try and piece it all together, she buries herself in his esoteric research and uncovers something surprising.
Not only is it possible that her husband isn’t dead, he might not be human, either.

In the middle of the night, Lydia Deetz is awoken by a strangely familiar voice. The full moon carries the memory of dreams from the past. For what can you call nightmares you pine for?
It is a short graphical fan-fiction story inspired by the original (and unavailable) scenario for Beetlejuice*, before it was decided to turn it into a comedy. Therefore, we strive to keep it from becoming a comedy - or at least not too much. But we cannot foresee where the evolution of the script may take us.

Summary
After her second encounter with Beetlejuice, settling back into her ordinary mundane life proves unsatisfying for Lydia. For many sleepless nights, she wonders what might have been if she’s had more courage, questions the beliefs of her past and tries to get her spunk back.
Meanwhile, Beetlejuice has been keeping busy in the Netherworld in between his first and last summoning.
