Summary
MJ dreamt of flying.
No, she was, swinging? She looked over to find her arms wrapped around Spider-Man. She remembered this. This was one of the chunks of memories where the parts before and after were fuzzy. But she remembered swinging. She hated swinging.
She dreamt of falling, a faceless person reaching out for her but not being able to catch her.
Then, quite suddenly, the memories overwhelmed her. Her mind jumped from one instance to another before she could grasp on to what she was supposed to be remembering. Peter’s face flashed through her mind, filling in the gaps of her memory.
When she woke up, she remembered. She remembered everything.
And she was furious.

He put up his fists and pretended to throw punches, “I’ll show him who’s boss.”
“How romantic. Two guys fighting over me. That’s exactly what I’ve always wanted.”
His jaw dropped in an almost comical way. “You don’t think I can take him? Well I hate for you to find out this way,” he looked her dead in the eyes, his voice dropping to a whisper, “I’m actually Spiderman.”
"Get out of here."
He made the classic Spiderman hands while adding ‘thwip’ sound effects for extra emphasis. MJ shoved his chest, pushing him back onto the couch, laughing in a way only he could cause. She loved him.

Summary
After the death of his beloved Aunt May, Peter Parker’s world crumbled. Not only had he lost the only family he had ever truly known, but he also faced the harsh reality of being a 15 year old orphan. With no other immediate relatives to care for him, Peter gets placed in the care of his last living relative—his paternal grandfather, Richard Parker Sr. and his much younger wife, Cynthia. Peter had never been close to his grandfather. Richard was a cold, strict man, a retired army General. Richard Sr. harbours bitterness towards Peter and thinks of him as a curse. But Peter had nowhere else to go, and the authorities saw Richard a retired military general as the logical guardian. Cynthia, Richard’s wife, was an indifferent woman
Peter still had one thing he held onto—his life as Spider-Man. Being Spider-Man is his escape, his way of making up for the guilt he felt over May's death and Uncle Ben’s before her.
Tony Stark, who has become his mentor and father figure, suspects something is wrong but doesn’t push Peter, who maintains a facade of normalcy while secretly suffering.
The tension between the Avengers deepens as the rogue members return and Peter doesn't want to add to Mr Stark's troubles.
