    Summary

“I’m not a good fit for UA,” Izuku says.

    “No,” Shōto immediately interrupts.

    Izuku pauses.

Looks away from Aizawa long enough to smile just a bit helplessly at Shōto instead.

“UA isn’t a good fit for me,” Izuku corrects.

Finally saying it to someone besides Shōto feels …

    Right.

Peaceful, somehow, in a way that Izuku still had not expected it to be.

The sweet relief of a door opening in an otherwise sealed room.

A fresh streak of vibrant color across a world still recovering from so much grey.

    “Who are you?” Jack asks.

The man laughs loudly, echoes bouncing off of the dungeon walls. “Why, my dear Jack,” he says, leaning closer and reaching for Jack’s chin, “I am the Nightmare King.”
