It's been two painful years since Jack Frost has been in love with Hiccup Haddock.
Don't get it wrong, Jack truly wishes to talk about that but….how?
You know, being a lonely spirit for 300 years doesn't do wonders with his social skills, even less his…courting skills.
But, Jack is above everything stubborn.
So that's what he decides, that after waiting for 2 years he will finally confess his love to his best friend, and first person to ever see him

It has been six years since Hiccup Haddock disappeared in the dead of night, not a hair or footprint left behind.
It has been five years since the dragon raids stopped, and whispers started reaching Berk's shores of a Master of Dragons, maybe demon or human or something else entirely, who killed the wicked Queen which lived in Helheim's gate and ushered in this strange new era of peace.
It has been one day since Stoick the Vast was told by Trader Johann that his son is still alive, somewhere out in the Archipelago.
It had been less than a minute since Stoick woke up on the floor of the Mead Hall alongside the rest of Berk, weapons missing, torches burning.
The doors won't open.
Something is telling Stoick he's not going to enjoy what happens next.

In which Astrid got to the cove just a few minutes too late, and Hiccup had already left. In which, six years later, the dragon raids are a thing of the past, but now a madman with a dragon army is threatening Berk. In which Astrid, now heir to the Chiefdom, convinces Stoick to ask the mysterious Dragon Master for help.
Hiccup obliges. It's his fight, after all.
However, he may have forgotten to anticipate how hard it would be to prepare for war alongside his old friends and family without letting them know it was him. But then again, what other choice does he have?
Toothless is finding the whole situation highly amusing.

They say when a soul reincarnates, it's because they've done some good things in their past life.
Hiccup doesn't know what he's done to deserve a second life, but here he was. Living (was he even living if he was already dead?) as a wind spirit in the very confusing future with Toothless and the Light Fury. (What are those big, white metal things in the sky? Those definitely aren't dragons..)
Luckily, he had a very annoying, very charming winter spirit as a 'friend.'
