Angel lifted his head, freezing on spotting Charlie’s rectangle. “Holy shit! Is that a fuckin’ cellphone?!”
Charlie gave a nervous laugh. “Yeah. You don’t have a charger do you?”
He pointed at Alastor, eyes narrowing. “How come the new girl gets t’keep her phone? Ya said that shit don't exist around here!”
“It doesn’t,” Alastor said, flabbergasted.
Charlie’s gaze darted between them. “…this isn’t a cult or something, is it…? I’m just so busy between work and school, I don’t have time to join a cult right now.”
Angel’s shoulders sagged. “Nobody told ya…?”
“Told me what?”
“That you’re dead.”
She didn’t laugh this time. “What?”
“Everybody here’s dead.“

A living girl walks into a coffee shop for the dead... Unfortunately for Alastor, the head of a village of ghosts, Charlie’s arrival isn’t the setup for a joke. Though she vows to lay the wayward souls to rest, he's sure she'll be a blip in his century of life after death. He’s unprepared for the changes she brings, the most obnoxious being a man who looks just like her.

From the corner of his eyes, Alastor caught something pink. It stood out from everything else in the room. So bright, yet so different from the colors around them.
Turning his head to get a better look at it, he realized it wasn't something but more like someone. Specifically Lucifer.
Today, Lucifer dressed in almost all pink. From the shoes he had on to the hat he was wearing. He was covered in the color.
In his small hands he held a strawberry milkshake.

The first time it happened, it wasn't such a big deal. It wasn't an unusual sight to see The King of Hell and The Radio Demon bickering like an old married couple.
Oh, but Lucifer? Lucifer was mortified, by the fact his lovely, wonderful, inspiring daughter and the rest of the inhabitants of the hotel saw him in such an... undignified position with that prick of a demon. And it just keeps getting worse from there.
OR; 5 times inhabitants of hell misinterpret Lucifer and Alastors confusing relationship and the 1 time they're correct.
