It's been 5 years since they won The Hollow. They've found their careful, fragile balance; healing from things that never happened, rekindling lost friendships, dealing with adult life. They're in college now, yet Adam feels like he hasn't matured a bit. Those old wounds won't stop aching, itching to be acknowledged. Unfortunately for them, Adam is the last person to ever stop and think, much less about his own feelings. Reeve, on the other hand, is tired. Tired of yearning, guessing, remembering everything that once was, and never receiving closure.
