Blaze has not eaten once since she's been here.
Granted, they are in the middle of a bit of a crisis. Seaside city may be overrun with terrifying creatures of unknown origin, and evacuation has been a slight struggle, considering the way said unknown creatures are guarding the doors to every residential building with potential victims.
But still, the girl has been on the move constantly. Shadow can't remember the last time she sat down, or even allowed herself a moment to lean against a wall or table. And, for as strong as the princess is, she is no super-being like Shadow. He can see her becoming worn down.
Unfortunately, fire seems to be one of the only effective defences against these creatures, and Blaze, being the only one of their group with built-in firepower, has been appointed their main fighter and distraction while the others focus on evacuation.
