Summary
The stark difference between Jeremy threading through the law-related terminology and studying French is more than apparent. When Jeremy studies French – with his colorful pens, acidic page markers, enthusiastic mumbles under his breath – he looks giddy. Happy. There is a blush to his cheeks, a twinkle to his eyes as he looks at Jean, as if they are sharing a secret. He looks almost as ecstatic as he does when he is on the court scoring a goal.
**Jeremy's journey of learning French sets Jean on the path of discoveries of his own.

When Jeremy Knox signs his firm's social club up for a pottery workshop, he's under the impression he's emailing with the frizzy-haired middle-aged lady from the studio's website. Summary
Jean just stared at Jeremy with a strange look on his face for so long that Jeremy began to worry his partner was malfunctioning.
“Jean?”
“I see.” Jean said quietly, eyes downcast.
Jeremy’s mouth went dry when Jean adamantly refused to meet his eyes, and a dreadful feeling began to make a home in the pit of his stomach. “You see?”
His partner nodded solemnly. “I am a not a Raven anymore. I am a Trojan. I can be alone. You do not need to worry about me Jeremy, I do not need a partner anymore.”
Jeremy didn't think he'd ever breathe again.OR - With Jean's family's trial coming up and Jeremy's family constantly on his neck about the upcoming LSATs (and also obviously the small matter of them being madly in love with each other), our boys go through the absolute wringer before finding their way back to each other in the end.
