    He glances over the thick black lettering above the picture

    ) and focuses solely on Deadpool. The merc has two guns out in an exchange of bullets with a robber inside a bank. This wasn’t long ago. A week at most. Each shot had been calculated, the bullets never missing their mark, as the smell of smoke and gunpowder drifted  in the air, heavy enough to choke on. Peter roamed over the display of muscles covered by a body suit of spandex and leather. For someone who rarely exposed their skin, Deadpool’s suit had a way of accenting every inch of his body. His steady posture didn’t help. Or those rolling shoulders. His large hands. Again, the feeling stirs in Peter’s gut, more insistently.

    "If you two think I wasn't propositioning DP, you're wrong," Peter said sternly. "It's called flirting. Maybe look it up." That seemed to shut all three of them up, from the way Wade almost dropped his taco (a cardinal sin).

    Wade came back online a few moments later. "You two?" he ventured, comically looking over both shoulders. "It's just me and you up here, baby boy, unless you've got some invisible friend I haven't met yet."

    Peter was already shaking his head before Wade stopped speaking. "Dickhead and asshole, up there," he said, motioning with his taco-filled hand up at Wade's head. "They never know when to leave you the hell alone."
