If you were to ask one Ace Trappola how he’d describe Deuce Spade, he would probably answer you: stupid.
Now, is this Ace’s actual genuine view of Deuce? … I mean, yeah, a little bit. However! It is also at least partially just for the bit, can’t let anyone see him caring for one of his best friends after all, that would be totally lame.
But, if you were able to peel away his outer layers of cool guy persona to dive deep into the very depths of his soul, you would probably get a different, much more honest answer. That answer being: cute.

A depressing energy surges around the civilization, covering some objects and manifesting these strange creatures running around that no one actually sees except for the few eccentric characters that can see them and stop them.
But at least, for the first time in their lives, they are alive and free.
