Summary
An extremely smart and stressed Waverly Earp discovers she's virtually tied for class valedictorian with Nicole Haught, the most popular kid in her year who also happens to be her sister's annoyingly hot best friend.
Desperate to finish top of her class and claim the prestigious Gardner grant full scholarship, Waverly concocts a bold plan to exploit Nicole's one glaring weakness - gay panic - and distract her into a lower GPA.
Unfortunately (or fortunately) for Waverly, things don't quite go as planned. In the words of DJ Khaled: Congratulations Waverly - you played yourself.

“What are you talking about?” Grace's fingers played quick chords as he spoke. He didn’t even look as he did it, but it did not make them any less purposeful.
“Discussing possible reasons why Tau Ceti is not infected while other stars are,” Eva replied deftly. “I would invite you to join, but we were just finishing—”
“Oh, that’s easy.” His hand twisted a knob, and the notes came out sharper. “It is infected—Petrova Line and everything.”
In Grace's opinion, dreaming about time traveling is no excuse for getting out of practice with his Eridian. To the rest of the Petrova Taskforce, it seems a bit odd that their resident Astrophage expert has suddenly taken to carrying a keyboard around and playing it whenever he speaks. Eva Stratt resolves to figure out what is going on.

“Correct.” Lucy turned the page. “Which brings us to option three.” She chimed and tapped the final line. Then she looked up at them.
“You get married.”
Kara blinked. Once. Twice.
“What?”

DoD wants Kara to testify against Lena and the only solution (a terrible plan, really) is to get married. Public scrutiny, internet shipping discourse, and living together long enough to convince the government that their relationship is real.

Ling laughs, and Orm realizes with a jolt, like a careless hand disturbing the butterflies in her stomach, that this is the first time they've said more than greetings and pleasantries as nothing but themselves. There had been the joint casting that decided it all, but that was it. She'd mourn all the jokes she could've made to make Ling laugh like that, except now, here, it seems like all they have is time. She grins.
