The concept of Firstlands annoys the hell out of Rocky and Adrian. It's less concerning for Colt and Jody, even a source of inspiration for them. "You can't be too mad about it," Grace tells Rocky and Adrian, after everything is over, curled up in a pile of overlapping limbs and bleeding-together magic. "Saved the world, after all."
"The Firstlands didn't save shit," Rocky denies vehemently. "We saved the world."
"Yes, you did," Adrian laughs, cold hands gentle with both of them. "So stop complaining."

Summary
I don't feel right.
I haven't for a few months now. I don't know why. Or what it is. Or what is causing it. But something just feels wrong.
The wrongness has been here since we arrived on Erid. This is the first time in months that I have had a moment of peace with Grace, alone, and of course now is when my stupid brain asks the stupid question of what the wrongness is.
And it why has it been getting progressively worse.
Before it was just subtle. Now, walking on the wonderfully crafted beach with Grace, it is becoming more and more obvious that something is seriously wrong with me.
