Dorothea was ready for peace, having seen enough fighting for a lifetime. Leicester and Faerghus had been pacified, their rulers either abdicating or defeated on the battlefield. The Agarthans had been neutralized, Edelgard herself landing the killing blow on Thales. Petra, her beloved, had proposed to her, promising to take her away to Brigid where she can spend the rest of her life in comfort as Queen Consort.
However, when a familiar enemy makes itself known in the far northern reaches of Faerghus, Dorothea is sent to negotiate a ceasefire in the hopes of averting more bloodshed. But what happens when the person Dorothea needs to convince to stop fighting has no wish to do so?
