Summary
Azula is fed up with her life in the city. Nobody seems to want to know her, they judge her based on her public breakdown from almost a decade ago when her dad was arrested for tax fraud, and she had nobody left to take care of her. While cleaning out her desk at work, she finds a key to a farmhouse along with a letter from her uncle who left to travel the world. Azula chooses herself and moves to Pelican Town.
It takes some getting used to, and Azula's basically the town recluse, but she slowly makes friends with the town carpenter and her fisherman boyfriend. After becoming their third wheel, the couple tells her that the fisherman's sister is a third wheel too! Azula thinks they'll get along great. Too bad the town's healer seems to hate her.
(Stardew Valley AU, but you don't need to know anything about the game to understand this. I deviate from the game's timeline a LOT.)

Summary
The Phoenix King has been defeated by the Avatar, Ba Sing Se has been liberated, and his daughter Azula is in chains. However, she is still the Fire Lord, her claim uncontested and her mind sound, no matter her injuries and restraints. Though she failed to defeat the Avatar in the field of battle, the post-war settlement proves more troubling than our heroes could ever have expected, and she will not give up her nation's victory without a fight. However, all is not as it seems, as the Fire Lord has been holding secrets from the rest of the world, about what truly happened on a ship one fateful night. The Blue Spirit haunts her, and will continue to, until she learns the truth about herself and her family.

Katara didn’t answer. Her shoulders bunched slightly, her grip tightening around the spoon in her hand. Azula stepped onto the cool tiles of the kitchen, the shift in flooring marking a quiet transition into Katara’s space.
The room was small, but functional. Cabinets lined the walls, kitchen items placed with careful purpose. Nothing grand - but lived in. Everything here had a place, had been touched and used and cared for.Azula had nothing like that anymore.

She had been riding for spirits only knew how long. Her legs were growing sore and she could feel the ostrich horse beneath her growing tired as well. She pulled the reins and guided herself and her steed into a small clearing. She made quick work of setting up camp and settled down by her small fire. She ate her rations for the day and then looked up at the sky. When did everything go so wrong? She took a quick drink from her flask, cringing as the burning liquid slid down her throat. She knew where she was heading and sighed, "Didn’t think I’d ever be heading back there." She looked over at the ostrich horse, who just ignored her in favor of the grass around them. She sighed as she looked down at her hands and quietly sang to herself, "It’s a long long way to Ba Sing Se..."

Un ser vivo que depende totalmente de coexistir en sociedad, de convivir con otros humanos, de llevarse bien con ellos.
Siempre siendo egoísta y caprichoso, acostumbrado a la rutina, a que todo siga igual; deseando que su vida sea placentera y que, de ser así, nada cambie.
Entonces, ¿qué sucede si se aísla a un humano? ¿Y si a su vez lo sacas de su rutina, de una vida buena? Vayamos al extremo, ¿y si además de todo lo anterior, lo maltratas?La respuesta es más fácil de lo que parece, ya que tenemos el caso de estos sucesos. Lincoln Loud. Es un chico que ha sido aislado, denigrado, y dañado tanto físicamente como psicológicamente durante un largo tiempo. Si no creen que eso ya sea malo, imagínense que todo lo que le pasó solo proviene de una causa tan mundana como una simple superstición...
Es increíble esta especie, y cómo siendo tan inteligente, a la vez sea tan ignorante... Cómo una persona puede tener un cambio drástico después de un "trauma".
Pero bueno... A fin de cuentas, los humanos solo son animales, y como estos, también pueden sufrir una metamorfosis.
