-Whimsical that's how I would describe the Targaryens at their best, and at their worse? I don't even want to find the words to describe them, I met King Aerys at the war and the only impresion he left me with was a poor excuse of a man. I didn't want to leave the fate of the North in the hand of such a family. So I made all this plans, I thought I was ready to make them a reality, to make the North Stronger than it had been since the Targaryens came and started leeching us dry, taking our gold for their coffers, and our soldiers for their wars. I made my plans and prepared ourselves for the future, an alliance that would make us untouchable, and then your mother pointed out the obvious, you don't make strong friends by appearing weak, before anything else I needed to strengthen the North from within-

Summary
It's the same face Louis had pulled when he'd anxiously asked Lestat if he was leaving them - him - again, back in the graveyard, and that means Louis is afraid that postponing the trip to London might provoke Lestat into leaving him for good. Lestat wants to protest, but… well, the fear isn't entirely unfounded. His knee-jerk reaction had been anger, after all.
Writing those books has pushed him into far too much self-reflection, he thinks grouchily. He's never second-guessed himself this much before. Never worried so much about everyone else's feelings.
No, he thinks, You just had decades of regrets instead.
He grinds his teeth, but he's not really angry. How can he be, with Louis here in his arms, so anxious to be near him? And thinking about his plans in London that had felt so delicious and exciting - to break the rules, and put the fear of The Vampire Lestat into David Talbot - now they seem so pointless and empty. This - this is more important.

Summary
The first time it happens, Kidd thinks it's all just one weird ass dream.
One moment Akagami's attack slams into him, agony flaring in every fiber of his body, the next he opens his eyes back in his quarters in Wano and yeah, it's easy to blame it on too much booze.
It's a bit weird to see things happening just as they did in his dream, but he doesn't bother dwelling too much on it. Not when it's so fun to rile Trafalgar up, or when the midget falls for his taunting with amusing predictability.
It's only after they part ways that he starts to actually give it some thought. Because everything is identical to his dream and like it or not, that means the chances of actually encountering Akagami are high.
Hours later, as he slams in the mast again and feels darkness creeping at the corner of his eyes, he can't help but wonder if it actually wasn't all a dream to start with.
Three redoes and defeats later he's well and truly aware that no matter how much he’d hoped everything was a dream, he's actually stuck in a time loop that is getting frustrating progressively fast.
