Summary
Diluc Ragnvindr, rich, handsome, and charming, is the latest bachelor. Kaeya Alberich, tenuously employed, horny, and suffering from acid-reflux, is the reality show's host who unwittingly falls in love with Diluc at first sight. Diluc being strictly off-limits to the crew should ease Kaeya's suffering. It doesn't.

Summary
The first time Kaeya witnessed Diluc turning into a bird happened to be the very first night he spent at the Ragnvindr estate.
The boy had been bombarding him with questions, and at some point, had gotten so excited he couldn’t stop himself from growing feathers. Because that’s what people from Mondstadt did, apparently.
Kaeya’s eyes had gone comically wide, and he’d stumbled backwards fearfully in case the creature in front of him might attack or lash out.
Diluc, of course, had done so such thing, and had turned back immediately upon noticing his distress.
‘Sorry, that happens sometimes.’ he’d said sheepishly, as if that somehow explained everything.
‘I see.’
Master Crepus had sat him down the following day to inform him about some Ragnvindr family history, and that had been that – the gist of it being some members of the Ragnvindr family just randomly turned into a bird when they felt intense emotions.
Kaeya hadn’t questioned it.
He’d seen much, much stranger transformations amongst his own people, after all.

Or: Ragnvindrs turn into birds sometimes. Kaeya isn't all too fazed by it, for the most part.

Summary
Kaeya was a master at putting up a polished front at all times, even when intoxicated. Certainly, he still seemed pleasant enough when Diluc found him. Just a little boisterous, oblivious to Charles's gentle hints that last call had already come and gone quite some time ago. Diluc knew Charles would have fared better with another patron. But again, Kaeya could always manage to use his own charisma to his advantage. And from Charles's perspective, Kaeya was still fairly lucid; just slightly rowdier than usual. There was no need to treat the esteemed Knight as if he were some blacked out lush.
Diluc, however, knew better.

They were drunk. Were they drunk? Was he drunk? Because Kaeya had the feeling his guests had been talking to him for a while now, but none of their words had made any sense whatsoever.
That was, until Venti stepped firmly in front of Kaeya’s desk and set his hands on the top, the better to lean over towards Kaeya and say: “For the end of the Windblume festival, Sir Kaeya Alberich, we’re going to auction a date with you.”
