Summary
This story is set during Countdown to Destruction while the rangers are on KO35. While helping the rebels rebuild and prepare for a banquet to celebrate the end of the United Alliance of Evil Cassie meets an old friend. This story is set in between Andros bringing Karone off the Dark Fortress and the rangers returning to Earth during the last episode, this story assumes the rangers stayed on KO35 for a week. The character Zaldin (Zal- Deen) and Ms. Bale are my own, the rest belongs to Saban. Orginaly posted to FF.net

Summary
Tifa and Barret know something is going on with Cloud, more then what he is telling them. Starting from his fainting spell at the Corel Reactor to the Sleeping Forest at the end of the game each of Cloud's "episodes" is told from the point of view of Tifa or Barret. These are their inner thoughts and feelings as they see Cloud struggle on the journey. No spoilers for the game. Not Beta read. First fic.

Summary
Prompto didn't gain the confidence to approach Prince Noctis again until they reached High school. But he made a promise to Lady Lunafreya, and he plans on keeping it. Even if that means navigating the tricky waters of high school, and adolescence, and dealing with the fact that Noctis is maybe nothing like how he had imagined him to be .... and how that evokes emotions he never planned for... and great... Now what?
Noctis has grown up surrounded only by those who are bound to him by sworn duty to prepare him for his future reign, and others who would only use and manipulate him to further their own ambitions. He learned to cope with the isolation of royalty until a certain blonde classmate dared to start tearing at the walls he surrounded himself with. Noctis knows how to deal with posers and sycophants. But suddenly there is someone in his life that wants to stand by his side... just for the pleasure of being there... without asking for anything in return... and none of his lessons ever prepared him for how to deal with that...

DISCLAIMER: I know sod all about fishing. Everything in this fic concerning fishing is either copious googling or ripping off the FFXV fishing game mechanics. If you are a keen angler, I sincerely apologise for the total misrepresentation of fishing here, and rightly rescind myself to the fishing gods for due punishment.
That being said, any resemblance to accurate fishing techniques, with either angst or no angst included, is purely coincidental.

Prompto glances up from his phone, blinking, eyes darting about nervously for a few seconds before settling on Cor. "Me?"
Cor looks at him with a raised eyebrow. "You see any other Argentums around here?"
"Haa, right," Prompto says with a little laugh. "Uh, sorry. You needed something, sir?"
While patching up an injury Prompto receives and then hides during training with Gladio, Cor comes to realise he's not the only one who's been wishing for him to be a father figure to the boy.
