Being that Ranboo is seventeen, he is almost out of the foster care system. He's been in and out of homes for basically his whole life. He doesn't talk much. He's an enderman-human hybrid. And he often makes "weird enderman noises." Those things often dissuaded families from taking him home. What happens when a Ranboo hears about the head officer calling an old friend?This is not set in the DreamSMP, it is mostly unrelated.
I've seen a couple of fanfics like this and now I'm impulse writing! I hope you enjoy it!

"You think so?" Mike asks nervously, his wide eyes staring at her.
"Absolutely."
Karen Wheeler doesn't condone lying to her children, but she believes white lies can be considered harmless. They won't remember, anyways. But if Karen was telling the truth to her son, she'd have to admit how she's actually desperately nervous about his compatibility with his classmates.
After school, when Mike is rambling about his new best friend, Karen decides that if Will Byers makes her son this happy, she'll do everything in her power to make sure they stay friends forever.
Or, Will and Mike's relationship through the eyes of their friends and family (plus their own). Will is nonverbal autistic, and Mike has allusions to also being autistic. Neurodivergent friendly fic with them falling in love!

“I’m not like a second El. I don’t have powers.” Will was not his sister. El had control of her abilities and had used them to save the party many many times. Successfully. “I’m just… I’m siphoning. I’m stealing Vecna’s. And to do that, I have to be near the hive mind, and Vecna’s not coming back.”
Will didn’t want to do that again even if Vecna did come back. It was an awful feeling, being forced to watch through the eyes of the demogorgons but this felt worse. When he had connected to the hive mind and killed the demogorgons, he had felt Vecna, in all his insidious glory. For a second, that same darkness had overtaken Will, he was scared of the way he felt when he’d snapped the demogorgons bones.
