Jungkook picks up the envelope. It’s made of a nice, heavy cardstock that has a slight sheen under the fluorescent lights of the restaurant.
Save the date! It reads. Kim Seokjin and Jung Hoseok request the honor of your presence as they celebrate their marriage.
He skims over the rest, something about all-inclusive packages and an itinerary to follow shortly. It’s not until the bottom of the invitation that Jungkook’s heart gives a traitorous little drop in his chest.

The Venn Diagram of Jungkook and Jimin’s friend groups is one circle, which was great when they were actually together. Now it’s eight months after their break-up, and their best friends are getting married in Hawaii. Confronted with the fact that Jimin will be there with his new boyfriend Taehyung, Jungkook does the only reasonable thing: Asks his old crush Yoongi to be his boyfriend for the weekend.
