Summary
Gustave comes across Verso Dessendre when he's contemplating escaping from his life the only way it seems to him that he can, and offers him a listening ear, a shoulder to cry on, and an open door that Verso never realized was there.
Verso finds himself swept away (both figuratively and literally) by Gustave on their shared cruise to Italy, and realizes that his life has so much more to offer than he realized, as long as he's brave enough to seize it.
(With Gustave, of course!)

Summary
After the death of his sister Emma, Gustave and his adopted sister Maelle move to the seaside town of Lumière where Gustave takes up freelance work as an engineer. With little money to his name, he settles on a unique cottage in a prime location that is miraculously within his budget.
It would seem 'haunted' is not exactly a desired 'feature' for most people when looking for a new home…

Summary
There were several changes happening in Gustave's otherwise quiet life in Lumière. Emma got married and moved away, his hardware store closed, and a new neighbor moved into the cottage next door. A neighbor who played the piano in the middle of the night and who might be too handsome for Gustave to handle. A neighbor who Gustave liked to imagine was playing a song for him.
Or Gustave has the biggest crush on his new neighbor, Verso, and can't believe that his upper class neighbor might also have eyes for him as well.

Chapters alternate between Harry in the 'present' day and Kim in the past, this is an Eyes fic so obvious warning for major character death.
