Eddie's gaze landed on Buck.
"Oh no," Eddie breathed beside him, so quiet Buck almost didn't hear it.
Video-Buck was sitting on a couch, drink in hand, grinning up at Eddie with that stupid, fond expression Buck knew he got when he looked at Eddie but usually managed to hide better. Video-Eddie walked over, and the crowd went wild.
"This is—we should turn this off," Eddie said, but neither of them moved.
Video-Eddie started dancing, and at first it was silly, exaggerated, both of them laughing. Buck remembered this part, sort of—the dare, Eddie being ridiculous, everyone cheering. But then video-Eddie straddled Buck's lap, and everything changed.
Buck watched his own hands come up to grip Eddie's hips, watched the way Eddie's expression shifted from playful to something intense, something hungry. They were staring at each other, and even through the grainy video, Buck could see it—the want, the need, the thing they never talked about made visible."Kiss him!" someone shouted in the video. "Kiss the sexiest man in the room!"
And they did.Or video evidence of that bachelor party emerges leaving buddie in complete chaos

Theo giggles and looks up at her from below. “Eddie doesn’t have a girlfriend! That’s silly!”
Eddie nearly chokes. Silly… Yeah, maybe so. “Uh—No. No girlfriend.”
“Then whose is he, Eddie?” His dad asks.
And with the comedic timing of one of those corny 90s sitcoms, Buck chooses that exact moment to walk out of the kitchen.
Or: Eddie's parents make a surprise visit for Christopher's sixteenth birthday. What they didn't expect was finding a few surprises of their own.
Or: Eddie is convinced the universe hates him when his parents come to visit. With them already believing he and Buck are together, Eddie decides to roll with it.

Summary
“What about Spin the Bottle?” He chugged his beer, then slammed it down on the coffee table.
“Hmmm, that’s less messy. I’m down,” Ravi nodded.
The rest of the group crowded around the couch and seemed to be in agreement.
Buck, at first, was repulsed by the idea of kissing one of Ravi’s friends, but maybe it would help him get over Eddie.
“Buck, you in?” Ravi asked.
Buck chugged his drink. It burned as it slid down his throat.
“What the hell, sure.”
or; Eddie is gone, so Buck seeks friendship with Ravi. Ravi invites Buck to one of his house parties and a friendly game of spin the bottle takes place. Buck is forced to face his feelings for Eddie head on when the bottle lands on him.

“You asked me if I like Tommy,” Eddie continues, slightly less manic now. “I don’t dislike Tommy. I just think you’re crossing oceans for someone who wouldn’t cross the street for you, Buck, and it makes me fucking sick because you can’t see it. You can’t see what you’re worth, and he’s never going to show you.”
Buck scoffs. It’s wet and bitter and he hates the sound of it, but he can’t stop it. “Oh, and you will? You gonna show me what I’m worth, Eddie? You?”
He doesn’t mean it to sound like a dare. But fuck, it comes out like one.
Eddie flinches, as if Buck hit him, and for a second he looks so small — hurt and startled — before he closes it off, harder than before.
“Fuck you, Buck.”
