Summary
Tessa and Shane were kids together, inseparable during the summers they spent together in the valley.
Sixteen years later, Tessa returns and is surprised to find Shane living there with his young goddaughter, and carrying a whole lot of trauma.
He’s not the same, scrawny boy anymore. Shane has become an abrasive, fractured husk of the boy she once knew, and he bristles any time she gets within ten feet of him.
He wishes she would just leave him alone.
Unfortunately for him, Tessa enjoys poking the bear.
A story about healing through play, forgiveness, and falling stupidly in love with the only person who can still make you laugh.
