Through all his doubts and fears on tethering his spirit to flesh, there was a gratefulness that he made the decision. Mythal strongly compelled him to make the change, but nothing prepared him for the wonder of tangibility. Solas lamented the intrinsic connection to magic and the world, and he always would. To be born of the Fade was a connection like no other.
But to touch? To feel? To create? It was all beautiful. To be grounded meant sacrifice, and Solas would make it worth while. To live.
