I first published this fanfiction several years ago, reaching Chapter 65 before life forced me to step away. Now I am back, revising each chapter, deepening the characters and relationships, and hopefully giving the story the ending it deserves.

My shoes?” I asked, still needing a moment to process his Korean.
“Yes.” His eyes creased at the corners as he leaned forward to look at them more closely. “They’re amazing.”
I glanced down, and a smile immediately spread across my face.
At the beginning of my career, I had started customising sneakers with hand-painted designs. Those had been my first pair. Handmade white shoes transformed with swirling strokes of blue, yellow, and white inspired by Van Gogh’s 'The Starry Night'. Small crystals shimmered between the painted lines, while golden laces completed the design.
They had eventually led to a limited collection and one of the first larger magazine features of my career. Even now, they remained among my most requested designs.

It’d be easier if her partner Jay Halstead wasn’t standing a little too close, saying a little too much, and making damn sure Matt noticed.
At least her ex-husband doesn’t know that she’s the killer’s next target…yet.
