The guard defending the switch immediately realized that she wasn’t supposed to be there, but failed to call the alarm by Phoenix swiftly knocking them out. Propping them up against the wall, she left a health potion by their side before flicking the lever to open the dam.

In big bolded text, at the very bottom of the board read, “If gear is destroyed or stationary, dam will automatically redirect water to the Auburn Forest.”
Well, that made her job a little easier.
Smashing the gear to pieces, she knocked out the commander that tried to stop her and fled the dam. Using her disguise to walk past all of the guards, she checked to make sure the water was flowing into the Auburn Forest before making her escape.
