Summary
When Hermione finally returns to London after nine years of building a career as a Magical Being Rights Advocate in Australia, she expects things to be at least somewhat like she remembered them. Instead, she returns to a world she doesn’t recognize. One in which Draco is now one of Harry's best friends—and trusted Auror partner—with their friend groups merged into one. And though Hermione has never acknowledged why she stayed in Australia for so long, it’s now obvious: she’s never really come to terms with the past. Summary
The trio's search for the Horcruxes was abandoned when Griphook absconded with the Sword of Gryffindor, leaving the three – traumatised and disheartened – to return to join the rest of the Order in the ongoing brutal war against Voldemort. Several months later a maimed, disillusioned, and broken Draco surrenders himself to the Order after his failures earn him Voldemort's displeasure, and Hermione finds herself the warder of the prisoner in the cellar.
The Risk'verse Quartet is an epic, coming-of-age wartime series that follows Hermione, Draco, and the Order of the Phoenix throughout an extended war, and then onward into the aftermath.
