So.. I wrote this, cus I wanted Tav to react to Gortash being called "handsome" by the narrator, despite (in my opinion) being nowhere near so. Couldn't find a fic that did this, though, so decided to do it myself.
(Since it's the narrator saying Gortash is supposed to be handsome, in this one-shot, just assume people on the streets of Baldur's Gate are the ones to have said so closely enough to Tav to be heard.)
Be aware that I have only watched the 'meeting Gortash the first time' scene like ONCE, and it was weeeeeks ago. So if you find the short kind of off, or with plotholes cus of the (intended) seriousness of that scene/the reactions of the characters.. Well. Do me a favor and suspend your disbelief lmao. Or not. Just don't yell at me for this silly little one-shot yeah? Cheers.<3

Summary
Conner used to be Arthur's biggest bully.
Now he's in his thirties, single and painfully aware of the guilt that eats at him. He took his self-hatred out on the awkward guy, wanting to hide his insecurities behind the shield of the 'big bad wolf' facade. And he thinks he'll live the rest of his life, carrying that pain, until he sees Arthur during a meeting at the therapist's office, just before being told that he'll no longer be able to get his medication funded.
Conner decides to show up where he remembers Arthur's mum lived, to see if he could somehow get back into the man's life. And this is where his life slowly starts spinning into a tale of twists, turns and bumpy roads.

Tony gets hit with a permanent de-ageing spell, and the rest of the Avengers (and SHIELD) prove to be less-than-suitable guardians. Thor summons a pardoned Loki and returns from Asgard to pick up the parenting slack, and hopefully to correct the damage that Howard left, while their little family slowly grows along the way.
