Summary
The first time Yuma felt that quiet, unexplainable warmth toward Taki, he was only ten years old.
He remembers it as a sticky, almost-summer afternoon, the memory still glowing warm in his mind. Back then, the sky was painted with soft oranges and pinks as Yuma sat alone on the cracked concrete steps of the elementary school, knees pulled to his chest, sneakers scuffed from kicking at pebbles.
Once again, his mom had forgotten to pick him up—probably lost in another haze on the living room couch.
The other kids had long gone home, their laughter fading into the distance.
That's when Taki found him.

The stranger follows his gaze and lets out this soft laugh. "The one in the blue shirt? That's Taki. My friend. The one he's..."
"With," Kei finishes. "Very with."
"Very," the stranger agrees.
Abandoned by the friends who dragged them there, Kei and Fuma find themselves trapped in the middle of a loud club making awkward small talk. That awkwardness soon melts into a connection that lasts until dawn. Yet they leave without a way to find each other again. Kei thinks it’s over, but is it ?

he’s okay. nicholas repeats the words in his head again and again as he clings to euijoo. his chest feels cracked open and hollowed out, a shell of someone that he's not sure he ever was. his new meds make him sluggish and lethargic, which doesn't help with the shame and guilt he already feels for spending so much time in bed. he hasn't been able to stomach a full meal in three weeks. he doesn't feel any better, despite the treatment he's been receiving.
but for some reason, when euijoo says he's okay, nicholas believes him.

Living with Nicholas is great. They keep their mess to themselves, they don’t make too much noise, and they’re queer, which makes the entire T gel situation much easier to work around, considering they’re on it too.
There’s one habit of theirs, however, that absolutely drives Euijoo up the wall.
Euijoo’s roommate Nicholas is terrible at knocking. Fortunately, it might end up doing them more good than bad.

It was hard to ignore. The way Keeho was managing to bleed his way into his life.
Tuesdays and Thursdays Keeho picked him up from Korean History class and they went to lunch. Wednesdays and Fridays they took the bus together and Keeho would walk him to his lab, where he’d greet Taeyang before leaving. Weekends they’d get dinner or study together or Keeho would show up to the end of dance troupe practices, hanging around to see Intak and Youngbin and Taeyang hyung. Every part of Jiung’s life was starting to move and shift and make way, allowing a perfect little gap for Keeho to slip into, to make himself comfortable.
And maybe that was what Jiung was most afraid of.
