Summary
A portal appeared in the Empty SEKAI, found by the Luka of that world. In it, she saw someone who looked just like her, surrounded by other portals showing blurred out images of what laid behind them. That other person— other Luka, she surmised— looked ready and excited to enter one, a scenery modeled after the night sky with twinkling stars. Her eyes sparkled with wonder.
"Wait!" She shouted out.
"Oh?"
The two looked at each other, maintaining that distance between them, struggling to separate the utter reality before this fiction. If they touched, they were sure something catastrophic would occur.
"You're..."
"...Me."
And in those moments, when the two Megurine Lukas shared in their bewildered stares, the one from the Empty SEKAI saw a world different from hers.
"Carpe diem, it is~"

Akito let out a defeated sigh, deflating into what could only be described as the Shinji pose. He was running out of time, partially because he procrastinated it, but that was certainly unrelated. He didn't want to do this, but he had no choice. He needed to figure something out as soon as possible, or Valentine’s Day would not go as planned.
