    Summary

The Grand Alliance is defeated. The Dead King unleashes his full power during the Battle of Hainaut, and not even Catherine Foundling - the Black Queen - is able to stand against it. And so in the final act of her redemption arc, Akua Sahelian sacrifices herself to save the day.

Or at least, that was the plan - but the Gods Below are cheating bastards. They're not going to let Akua off the hook that easily.

    Summary

A short piece on Clark Kent, effective altruist. This is either incomplete or complete but open-ended, and either way, I don't intend to add more to it, though I'm sure I could if I had a gun pressed to my head. This has been sitting in my drafts folder for a long time, and after reading it over a few times, I haven't found any sufficiently satisfactory conclusion to it, in part because the central question appears to me to be unsolvable. Apologies for any misrepresentation of effective altruism, Superman canon, basic science, or economics.

    Summary

In the aftermath of the Buckbeak incident, Lucius Malfoy turns to everyone’s favorite advice columnists, Reddit. But the Statute of Secrecy must be upheld, even when a very frustrated Gryffindor tries to correct the facts.

INFO: Why was he hired? Doesn’t the school evaluate lesson plans?

This isn’t even the worst of the Headmaster’s hiring decisions. They haven't been able to keep a gym teacher for more than a year in over 20 years.
