Oh fuck. Where the fuck did road trip come from? Cody wanted to get away from Noel, not be stuck in a car with him for hours on end. In close proximity. With no escape. His subconscious clearly betrayed him and was already hoping for an only-a-single-queen-sized-bed-in-the-last-hotel-room type of situation happening on this (clearly imaginary) trip.

The universe works against Cody and sets him up for a week-long trip to Yosemite with Noel under the guise of a video idea. Think a modern Brokeback Mountain with less angst and minus the major character death. Budding romance amongst nature between bros? Nicholas Sparks could never.
