Summary
Aang and Zuko grow up visiting each other’s past and future.
Naturally, when they finally meet at the South Pole, Aang refuses to let his friend go.
To Zuko’s dismay, not only Aang but also two Water Tribe siblings and one Kyoshi Warrior force their way onto his ship. Suddenly, his mission to capture the Avatar turns into protecting and training him instead.
The result: one fake engagement, the Gaang insisting Aang is definitely not the Avatar, and future Aang and Zuko showing up whenever the timeline needs a little “help.”

Summary
Uncle Iroh- for some reason Zuko yet again failed to understand -refused to shoot lightning at his nephew. When further asked about it, he'd said something about it being for safety and health reasons (although it was still a bit unclear whose health he was referring to).
Zuko had never been able to count on luck though. If he wanted to ensure he could get an upper hand against his family, he would have to go and look for one himself, like with pretty much everything else in his life.
But perhaps people should really be careful of what they wish for. It might become true in the least expected ways.

Summary
After the battle at the Northern Water Tribe, Sokka is captured by Zhao.
It's not incredibly ideal, however, he reckoned he could escape if given the right motivation. Most of which is provided by his cellmate, Prince Zuko, the boy they've been fearing for months. The Fire Prince who has spent the last few months of Sokka's life miserable, trying to keep him, his sister and the all-powerful twelve year old boy alive. It's his rotten luck to be locked up with Zuko, he's only going to foil his plans wherever they go.
At least, that's what Sokka thought.
The thing about war is, the smoke rises so high, so thick, things aren't as clear as they once were. Sokka believed all Fire Nation was evil, that it was only capable to destroy. All he saw when he looked at the Fire Nation was the fire in their eyes. But what could possibly happen when he starts to feel the fire in the heart of one, golden-eyed boy, who is more than he appears?
Sokka's got a lot of learning to do, as does Zuko. Slowly, they're finding that as long as they're together, they might be able to take on anything.

Ch 27 - “You’re nervous,” she stated, causing all of them to stiffen. “Why?”
Jet’s jaw rolled, like he was resisting honesty. A path he certainly wouldn’t survive if he dared follow it. But then he sighed and muttered, “Because you’re all gonna hit me”
“I’m not going to hit you,” he [Zuko ] murmured eventually, observing as Jet’s shoulders sank minutely, his earlier worries put to rest. The relaxation short-lived just as Zuko’s face lifted into a snarl. “I’m going to kill you.”
Within the blink of an eye, Zuko fisted Jet’s collar and shoved him backwards — forcing him through the front door until they hit the railing of this level of apartments. The steep drop below was nausea-inducing, enough to summon a yell from Jet’s mouth as his back bent against the wooden rail, head tilted dangerously low over the side. His hands scrabbled for purchase, finding nothing but Zuko’s unmoving chest, towering over Jet like he was his maker. The fist in his shirt twisted, applying enough pressure for Jet to tip back with a shout. - ch 27
