The host’s spine is misaligned, its immune system crippled, its eyesight lacking, hearing lackluster, its feet are somehow not the way they should be, the joints ache, the lungs are floundering. Winter’s host can’t even breathe right.

    This is it. This is the trap. Winter’s captors think that they can kill it by trapping it in a weak, dying host.
