Summary
“Why does it feel like you’re telling me goodbye?” Eddie whispers, staring into the depths of his husband’s eyes. “Because I am” It’s meant to be light, a joke but it lands heavier than either of them wants. Because it’s true. Buck was being drafted again, and as Eddie watches him walk down their walkway, he fears he’s never going to feel whole again.
What happens when a mission goes wrong and a husband loses his partner and their son loses his dad? What happens when someone starts showing interest in Eddie and who on Earth keeps knocking at the door?

Summary
Harry and Louis haven't spoken since they broke up four years ago. As boarding school sweethearts they once spent every waking moment together, but now they can hardly stand to be in the same room. When their five year class reunion comes around, both boys decide against their better judgement to return and (hopefully) have a good time.
The only problem is, they're both still hopelessly in love.
Starring Harry as the petty ex, Louis as the new James Bond, Niall as a boy genius and fake boyfriend extraordinaire, and Liam and Zayn as two friends just trying to make it out of this weekend alive.

Summary
It’s Louis’ first year at Manchester United’s football academy, and he’s dead set on doing it right. With Harry by his side, the world is there for the taking. Playing for the Under-21’s team, the path to becoming the next star of the Premier League is clear.
He didn’t expect to have to deal with a new coach, missing his friends, and a homophobic teammate making his life that much worse. Hiding his relationship with Harry seems like a good plan until it doesn’t, and handling things in general doesn’t seem to be his thing.
Or: The one where Louis and Harry definitely love each other, and football still is everything. (Maybe it shouldn’t be.)

Summary
There’s no marriage left to salvage. Shannon left him two years ago, and whatever fragile hope he was holding onto, whatever flickered in their bed two days ago, died the moment she recognised Buck.
But that’s not what he tells Buck.
“Right,” Eddie says, shifting his weight, crossing his arms across his chest. “And Shannon’s back, I mean you saw her the other day, so we’re gonna—” Eddie takes a breath. “—try again. And me and you can, you know, move on.”
Buck indulges in a threesome with a married couple in El Paso, Texas. Two years later, Eddie Diaz joins the 118. Buck really wishes those two facts weren’t related.

Summary
“Yes, he has food poisoning,” his mom said. “He was sent home after being sick, and he has a stomach ache.”
Eddie’s head spun. “Sent home? But the school didn’t…” He shook his head, realising exactly what had happened with the school. He’d deal with it later. “Why didn’t you call me?”
His mother spread her hands. “You were working, Eddie, we know how important days like today are for you,” she said.
It was incredible how she could sound perfectly reasonable and yet so very patronising at the same time.
___
While in Texas Chris develops appendicitis, and Eddie gets him to the hospital eight hours later than he could have because his parents decided, once again, that they knew what was best.
