Summary
Yūji, Nobara, and Megumi were having a sleepover in the pink-haired boy's room, and after they'd all fallen asleep, Fushiguro woke up to get a bottle of water.
But thanks to the moonlight streaming through the window, he could read his name in the corner of a notebook tucked under several papers, as if it had been hastily hidden.
It wasn't that he was nosy or disrespectful of Itadori's privacy, but seeing his name there piqued his curiosity.
Besides, he had a right to know what the other thought of him, didn't he?
Yes, it was his revenge for not telling them he was dead. With that thought in mind, he felt less guilty and decided to start reading, maybe even go back to the first page… and who's kidding, he ended up reading everything written there.
Who would have thought Yūji felt the same way he did?

“Love you,” Yuuji mumbles against his skin, so soft and sincere that Megumi’s heart swells. “So much. Don’t know what to do with it.”
Megumi’s arms come up around him in response, holding him close, and he presses a gentle kiss to the top of Yuuji’s wet hair. “I love you, too,” he answers, and the words feel inadequate for the depth of what sits in his chest – but Yuuji seems to understand anyway, because the purr spikes in intensity again, warm and elated and completely unrestrained.

He blinks again a few times, as his eyes fully adjust to how dark the room is. Looking past Kugisaki, he can see Fushiguro’s outline at the bottom of the bed, but the oddest thing is, Yuuji swears he can smell him. Like, he’s been smelling something since he woke up, but couldn’t really think too hard about it (or anything, in particular), but now that he’s looking at Fushiguro, he just knows.
It’s him.
