The Davy Jones/Will Turner fic I've been waiting for. You made me write this myself. Jones is a daddy dom who drinks respect consent juice. Will Turner is a virgin. That is ALL canonical.
This takes place immediately after the extended liar's dice scene which, as we all witnessed, was dripping with untapped homoeroticism. Disney deleted it because they knew it would fucking awaken the masses.
Expanded Davy Jones lore, side character development, growth, exploration, sea battles, etc. THE definitive "I wanted to write some explicit one-offs but now it's turned into a 90k epic that completely revamps the narratives of the entire second and third movies." Huge divergence from canon in all respects.
Elizabeth and Will embracing friendship & guiding each other through their growing romances with a god and a devil.
Jones/Turner and Elizabeth/Calypso parallels foils infighting nausea crying shaking throwing up.

Summary
His vision swims, refusing to focus, but he can make out a vaguely human sort of shape, all in red. It’s not the dark, threatening red of the ocean he’d been abandoned in. Instead, it’s overwhelmingly bright, a beacon, a promise of safety.
“You're alive.” Finally, he manages to blink away enough of the blood and general fatigue to recognize a man’s face within the red helmet. In the darkness, Simon can't make out the color of the astronaut's eyes, but they're soft and fixed on him.
In which Simon is rescued after escaping the ruins of his own universe. With help from a clumsy, but persistently kind scientist and an alien he's just glad isn't eel shaped, Simon starts to believe he can finally put the past behind him.
Unfortunately, he's not all that made it through.

I do not believe in prophetic dreams. There is no reaching beyond the veil, and there are no gods to send me guidance while I’m trying to rest.
And, most definitely, there are no strange men crying for help in the middle of the night. No one is actually stuck in what looks like a submarine that is slowly filling with what I’m hoping is not blood. Even if I’ve been seeing it every night for the last couple of weeks.
I try to ignore it, at least in my waking hours. I somewhat succeed in it.
…That is, until I see a suspiciously submarine-shaped blob of please-please-please-let-it-not-be-blood through the Hail Mary’s telescope.
Or: the Hail Mary finds the SM-13 on the way to Erid. Everything would be fine — if not for the second, much bigger (and suspiciously… toothy) thing floating in space next to it.

To summarize: this takes place in the universe of the “inspired” fanfic (DEFINITELY check it out if you haven’t), in an alternate scenario.
Grace, Rocky and Simon have saved the stars. They had to go back for Rocky, and Grace is starving on the way to Erid. With two people to feed now, there just isn’t enough. Every day is a fight to get Simon to eat—he’d rather starve than take from Grace. Simon is constantly in distress, and the Eel is unhappy. It didn’t mean this for its Pet.
In a flash, it transports the Hail Mary into Earth’s orbit.Grace & Simon have to figure out how to land, what to do, and how to live on Earth now.
