Summary
The Kingdom of Hyrule is perfectly civilized, thank you very much. Unlike their barbaric neighbors, they only sacrifice one person each year, and that person is a willing victim.
Zelda has always known that on her twenty-first birthday she would become a human sacrifice to renew the barrier that prevents Eldritch Ganon from devouring the world.
Link, a young stable hand, wins the favor of the princess in the tournaments. But how do you save a princess determined to die for her people? And what will happen if he succeeds?- Language:

Summary
One short year after a catastrophic religious war between the Followers of Hylia and the Worshippers of the Three rips apart Hyrule, Link, one of the era's few low-born knights, finally receives an apportionment of lands from the Crown and must attempt to prove his worth in a corrupt court. Link has long been secretly in love with the Princess, but what chance does he stand against the handsome King of the Gerudo, who has just arrived from beyond the desert to seek Zelda's hand? Is Link's dislike for the mysterious King a mere product of jealousy and emotion, or could there be something more sinister at play?
