…and if there was dripstone, there was no way Clown had survived…which meant–
–Branzy’s dazed look dared to climb from its spot on the pit, meeting the three figures who had chased both him and the jester across kingdom come: Vitalasy, PrinceZam, and Subz. The trio were frozen, stuck blinking at each in utter amazement at the fact that they’d manage to send the assassin catapulting into such a predictable trap…
…and then their eyes turned to him.
