The glee, the challenge in his voice when he had issued Egg’s price – ten thousand diamonds – had been the catalyst for all of this, after all. Scar hurt all over.
“G,” he hummed, a little weaker as the energy he had mustered depleted. “What can I do for you? Isn’t it getting a little late?”
The avian looked at him, black, glittering eyes tracing Scar’s figure. Scar knew what he must look like– out of his armour, out of his banker attire, he knew how frail he had gotten.
“Scar,” Grian murmured, in disbelief. “You absolute idiot.”

Scar, after spending months mining diamonds endlessly to pay Egg for their prank on Doc, is finally finished. His mining is done. His wrist is sprained. He hasn't slept or ate in months- but he is finished. Now, all that is left to do is deal with the consequences of his own inability to take care of himself.
On the other side of the counter, Grian realises what kind of state Scar has overworked himself into because of him. He sets out to offer comfort, but it's never that simple, when it come to him and Scar.

Summary
“Look. It would solve both their problems! Doc needed to volunteer. Ren needed a volunteer.
And besides. It couldn’t hurt to see Ren again. Probably.”
While trying to get approved as a foster parent, former foster child Doc Monsterra finds himself helping out his old college friend and longtime crush with the local Buttercup Scouts troop! It’s not all fun and games and selling cookies, though, and Doc soon finds himself entangled in the lives of the kids he’s helping out. As cookie season begins and the annual scout camp approaches, Doc grows closer to Ren and to the kids, and finds his life changed forever.
This is my fic for the MCYTblr Summer Big Bang! It was inspired by the amazing art created by WatchMeWhirl, which will be linked in the notes of each chapter!

Summary
Skulk is a death sentance. The only way to help is to cut around it. And too much of Ren's arm, above the elbow, was just ripped off by what looked like more a chainsaw than a creature.
Doc fights tears because there's people, he fights tears because he's in public, he fights tears because this is an emergency and he needs to calm down.
Or, Ren gets in a brawl, part of his arm gets ripped off by a skulk-infected dog. He needs an amputation.
