Potter chucks a rock at the unsettlingly bare yew tree that sits stark against the grey sky, like bones stripped of flesh. The forest beyond is yellow and russet with autumn colour, but not this ancient piece of shit.
“You’re a fucking muppet, Malfoy.”
They return to silence; it is not companionable.
That night, Draco wanks about Potter wanking in the shower.
