Or, how Joel became king of Mezalea because of a tree, and also married the goddess of the ocean
Or, or, this was MEANT to be a small little cute thing about how empires Lizzie and Joel met, but then it spiraled into immense world-building. They still get married tho :)

It's been over two months since eight people vanished from the Hermitcraft server, and things could really, really be going better. No-one's sleeping properly, especially not X; Mumbo's stressed, Doc's angry, and Joe's completely and utterly fine.
And then suddenly, in the early hours of the morning, the disappeared all come back at once.A look at the immediate return of those disappeared from for the life series in a slightly fluffier tone than usual, where the return is mostly marked by celebration and hugging rather than too much anger.

"No," he said, his voice shaky. "No, I don't think anyone will come looking for me."
"Okay," Xisuma answered, and that was that.
Until they invited two new people to the server.
or, the Hermitcraft Backstory Rule says that you don't ask other people about their backstory, you let them tell it if they want to and leave it be if they don't.
Unfortunately for Grian, one of the newest Hermits was also a player on his old server - one he'd thought had been dead for years - and she's going to drag his backstory kicking and screaming into the light whether she means to or not.
