Summary
Pikachu yelped in pain and Ash opened his eyes (when had he closed them?) to see Pikachu be thrown into a rock.
“Pikachu, use Electro Ball!” Ash commanded again, tone serious and strained. His mouth was dry and breathing ragged as a primal level of anger passed through him again. It was so much, it was almost too much. Ash planted his feet to the ground and pinched his arm to keep his eyes open and attention on the battle because Arceus, he might lose his mind with how much aura there was now.
The aura was suffocating and choking Ash. He couldn’t breathe. Every breath he took absorbed more of Lucario’s need to fight, more of the need to destroy.
or, Ash's battle with Korrina's Mega Lucario makes his aura senses go haywire. Gurkinn notices, Ash and Korrina's grandfather have a talk.

Summary
Melinoë looks back at the corpse prince. As she watches, parts of him begin rotting, melting into blood; his gray skin bubbles and peels and falls into the ground, his muscles going to liquid, and she sees his bones and his innards and then straight through him for a terrible few seconds before she wrenches her eyes back up to his face. His eyes are vacant, glassy. They hold all the certainty of a mirror. She says his name, unable to help herself. And then his eyes, too, are gone, melting into the ground with the rest.
Melinoë picks up the bloodied scrap with a shaking hand, tucks it among the rest of her things, and continues towards Olympus.

Summary
Lance was a survivalist. Had been forced to turn into one if he didn't want to wake up one day to a nasty zombie trying to chew his head open.
For pretty long he had been fine on his own with just his trustworthy companions; an AR that had taken out more zombies than he could count, two hand guns - Nicanora and Aleja - and his squirrel Leo. It was a small stuffed animal attached to his backpack, mind you, but he had never betrayed Lance so he counted.
Then an odd group of mismatched individuals had turned up and was about to shake up the routine he had built for himself. And for the first time in a long time Lance felt like maybe, just maybe, he should give this group thing another try. He had just saved their asses after all.
