Viago had been a dandy for as long as he had been a vampire – that is to say, he’d been a dandy his whole life and after too. Of course, in Germany, they were not called dandies, but the idea of them was the same, and he had always liked the clothes.

He liked the clothes a lot.

And he didn’t care if the humans of Wellington thought he looked strange. Especially now there was one non-human in particular that he was hoping to catch the eye of.

    Summary

Viago keeps having strange dreams about a gentleman pirate dying at his feet. They make no sense, at least until he meets a man who looks very much like the pirate from his dreams. What a mystery!

“Anyway—” Viago looks back at the camera, “—these are very weird dreams. Oddly enough, I’m always a pirate. Which is weird, because I met real pirates when I was a youngster, and they were very yucky and smelly. I never wanted to be one. Also, being a pirate was fashionable in the 17th century. Nobody seeks out that way of life anymore. I think?” He considers it for a moment. “Are there still pirates around?”

“Well, that was a thing,” Crowley said once they were out of earshot. Without talking about it, they were both heading down the field, towards the lake where the photographer (and likely a few more people from the TV crew) was waiting.

“That was a wedding,” Aziraphale replied, surprised at his own annoyance that somebody called a wedding a ‘thing’.

“Yeah, obviously, didn’t miss that part,” Crowley said with a shrug, and waved abruptly in Aziraphale’s general direction. “Neither did you, from the looks of it, since you’re dressed like a wedding bride and everything.”

“Excuse me, I am a—“ Aziraphale stopped himself, and started over.

In which Aziraphale ends up marrying a rude stranger who wears sunglasses.
