    "C'mon big guy, eat up," Sonic said, nudging the plate of eggs towards his new friend.

    Knuckles stared at it for a long moment before looking up a the blue hedgehog. "Is it poisoned?" He questioned, dead serious.

    Sonic nearly spat out the milk he was in the process of drinking. "Wha- What- Dude, why would we poison you?!"

    Knuckles frowned, looking confused and a little defensive. "I don't know; you're the one doing it."

    Sonic has to explain to Knuckles (and a little to Tails) that getting free food, beds, and other resources when you're a kid, or "being taken care of" is sort of a requirement on Earth and not a deceiving tactic.

    Set during Sonic the Hedgehog 2, after the final battle but before the baseball scene.

    Time is meaningless in Stone's world, but at some point in time, Stone was given their eyes again. Opening them back to the same spot they’d appeared on the plane before. He listens in awe as the same introduction is being told by Airy. Somehow the universe had given him another chance, sending him back in time before and Stone hadn’t predicted it.

    Or Stone gets stuck in a time loop until he makes things right
