Summary
Lucifer had been around a long damn time. Too long really. The only thing that kept him from seeking a way out of living was his daughter, Charlie.
Then she calls him out of the blue, asking for him to help save her friend, Alastor.
The confusing thing is, Alastor is a Hunter... who is also a were-creature? But weredeer weren't supposed to have a carnivore's teeth or a vampire's eyes!

Summary
"Okay, today we're talking about our happiest memories! Positive thinking is important, and knowing things used to be good helps us realise that they can be good again!"
The gang look back at her, faces blank, bored, or grumpy, save for Vaggie, who is giving her an encouraging thumbs up.
"This is stupid."
Vaggie elbows Angel in the ribs.

Charlie tries so, so hard to get her residents to open up in their morning activities. Sharing circles seemed like such a good idea at the time, but they only work if the people in them have nice, legal, wholesome things to share. Her residents do not.

Summary
A mark appears somewhere on a person as they grow up, usually blurred until puberty, though some will take until their late 20s to become clearly defined. It is said the mark represents the other part of your soul.
In turn of the century Louisiana, a colored child of mixed parentage was born with two marks, one on the back of each hand. While not entirely unheard of for there to be two and at birth, it was a rarity enough to have word quickly spreading around the small town. Even more rare was that both marks were fully defined, not the usual blur. One was completely indecipherable, a strange thing full of overlapping circles and lines that almost seemed to twist if stared at for too long, nausea settling at the pit of the midwife's and her assistant's stomachs. The other, most damningly, was the clear mark of the devil.

Summary
"Big talk for someone who's also on a leash."
"Aha, ẁ̴̨ͥ̿ͬ͝h͔͂͟a̸̙̎͆ͧt did you s̗̰͚̘̿̚a̡̻͔̜͂ỳ͖͗̕͝?"
Husk was absolutely right, even in his idea of who had Alastor's soul bound to them, but also very wrong on why. The knowledge that he had managed to continue to hide the full truth from the observant feline was one of the few reasons that his retaliation at the reminder remained merely a psychological show of force, rather than an actual physical reaction from his owner lashing out in anger.
After all, who would ever suspect that he and Rosie had accidentally managed to contractually bind their souls to each other?
