Death, death would come for them all eventually. This was something Shepherd accepted long before he had entered Barovia, although he had thought he could lead them all out of the hell that was Barovia. But when he watched the only person he care about be consumed in fire of course he chased them, love made Silas Morgan a selfish man. As the flames consumed their bodies, Gherix revealed himself, he offered a trade to Shepherd. A second chance.
And now he wasn't in Barovia, he wasn't in Stryga, hells he wasn't even on Avantris anymore. Instead Shepherd found himself on the Rhapsody, a large ship owned by a man named Rett and his partner Pyke.
How will these two adjust to their new lives in space, with the new party, a new life that brings new struggles and new lights.⋆⭒˚.⋆𖤓⋆⭒˚.⋆

Marius sat in the tub with Lethica, attempting to ignore his racing thoughts. She had seated herself between his legs, leaning over him and silently instructing him to tip his head back as she poured water over it. The liquid flowed through his hair and down his bare chest, rejoining the rest of the bathwater as it slowly grew cold.
“You think so loudly,” she said, pressing herself closer and holding his face, “Care to share?”

I didn’t anticipate company.” Clearing his throat, he looked down at his hands and more quietly added, “How long were you standing there?”
“Only a moment or two before you spotted me.
