Summary
Jay is desperate to be reunited with the girl he loves, but he has no clue where she is, and there's a million things he and his friends need to deal with first - power-hungry empresses, mysterious Dragon Cores, weird moon rituals, something called the Forbidden Five, a new tournament and a Chaos dragon. He’s determined to not give up on her - he made a promise after all.
Agent Nya Smith has always known something isn’t right, but with no memory of who she truly is, she has no idea who to trust and where to go. All she knows is she needs to protect herself from those who try to deceive her, whatever it takes.
With the world falling apart and destiny determined to keep them seperated, can the former yin and yang find each other and fix their broken relationship?? Or will the string of fate holding them together finally snap??
AKA: Swap AU where Nya and Jay end up in each other's places after the Merge - Jay is stuck in the Realm of Madness, and Nya ends up in the Administration without her memories. Mostly accurate to canon, but I make some changes and put Jay and Nya through as much as possible >:)

Children watched their beloved hero crumble. Fellow elementals watched their ally's light go out. Ordinary citizens watched the strongest ninja's defeat.
Across the city, the fear and shock were felt by everyone who knew Lloyd.OR: while rewatching Season 8, I got the idea of writing something about what happened post-Lloyd's defeat :)

What would have happened if Kai had been more helpful in getting Garmadon and Nya out of the snake chamber?
Or:
I've always been a bit confused by the fact that when Kai pretended to be on Chen's side in Season 4 Episode 7, promising to save Garmadon and Nya from being eaten by the snake, he never actually did anything to help them, and if it weren't for Cole and the other elemental masters, the two of them would have died before the ceremony to take Lloyd's powers was even over.
I'm sure Kai would never have left his sister in such a situation, so here's my interpretation of how it could have gone.
